New staff. AFB have a new technician in the form of Mr Tom Payne, Tom a former employee of Riders of Bridgwater is a fully qualified Harley-Davidson technician and a class 1 & 2 MOT tester, well thought of and highly reguarded by both his former employers and the public alike.
Genuine Harley-Davidson Oils etc. We are often confronted by owners concerned about servicing and undertaking work during their warranty period and the use of non Harley lubricants and the possibility of voiding the warranty. Larry Gutjahr Harley's P&A lubricants category manager said recently in "Hogtails" No, that's not true. We cannot and would not void a warranty for the use of another brand of oil. So there you have it, straight out of the factory, however if your still not sure we now stock Genuine Harley-Davidson oils.
TV Appearance
We were recentley visited by the crew of Demon Films who were shooting for there new television series "Custom Chopper" to be screened on Granada Men and Motors in the late spring of this year.
It was a pleasure to have the very lovely Michelle Thorn and Sam Mason here for the day, and some what distracting for the staff! so look out for us on the box......Well I have seen it....er what can I say, not the most serious piece of jornalism I have ever seen!!
Trick Box For original "Active Exhaust System"
Harley-Davidson introduced the Active Exhaust System on it's European 2007 big twin models. It's an ECM controled electric motor to open or close a valve in the exhaust to meet EU exhaust noise standards.
For those who prefer the classic Harley rumble to the EU whisper it is first necessary to overcome the "Fault" warning lights on the dash. Zodiac offers two trick boxes to fool the OEM onboard computer and eliminate the "fault" light problem.
- Easy to install they simply plug-in between the ECM and the AEV control motor. availible in two types
- Overrule Trick box, allows you to run AEV constantly open or closed, or as normal. For use with OEM or modified OEM Mufflers.
- Manual Trick box, allows you to run the AEV constantly open or closed. For use with after market mufflers.
