CRUISE SPEED 2" STRETCH GAS TANK FOR
EVOLUTION SOFTAIL STYLE FRAMES
Like on the other Cruise Speed tanks no expense was spared in the
construction and finish quality of these gas tanks. They are hand
crafted from heavy gauge steel and feature joggle lap and lap joints
through out, resulting in a super-strong gas tank without the worry
of compromising the structural strength while providing a smooth
surface finish. The joggle lap joints also allow the tunnel plate to be
sunken below the bottom surface of the tank, making grinding of the
welds unnecessary. Dependent on the application the tank is mounted
to the frame using the two supplied weld-on frame brackets, or the
bolt-on bracket and one of the weld-on frame brackets. Brackets
feature a recessed rubber mounting system to isolate the tank from
vibrations. Tank has 23.64" overall length, 20" long tunnel with a
reduced width front. Holds approx. 4 Gallon (15 liter) of fuel. Comes
complete with mounting hardware and features 13/16" (22 mm)
petcock outlet, breather tube and rear gas crossovers tapped for
1/8"-27 NPT unions.Available for use with pop-up style gas cap. Gas
caps are not included but must be ordered separately.
